In Cenedril you send a document for electronic signature by opening Documentation → Signatures, creating a new request, entering the template and signer, and clicking Send for signature. The person receives an email with a personal link, confirms their identity with a code, and signs directly in the browser. You then track the status in the list – until the request turns into a signed record.
Create the signature request
Open Signatures
In the sidebar open Documentation and select Signatures. The page shows two tabs: Signature requests (all existing requests) and New signature request.
Start a new request
Switch to the New signature request tab. A single-request form opens, with a live preview of the document below it.
Choose template and language
In the Template field pick the document you want (e.g. the non-disclosure agreement) and set the Language to German or English. For the non-disclosure agreement an extra Governing law (country) field appears, where you set the document’s jurisdiction.
Enter the signer
Fill in Signer name and Signer email – both are required. The Role / position field is optional and appears in the document. The preview updates automatically as you type.
Check the preview
In the Document preview below the form, confirm that the name, role and jurisdiction appear correctly in the text. This is exactly the document the signer will receive.
Send for signature
Click Send for signature. Cenedril creates the request and automatically emails the person a personal signature link. The view then returns to the list.
Track the status
On the Signature requests tab you see every request with its current status:
- Sent – the invitation has been sent but not yet opened.
- Viewed – the person has opened the document but not yet signed.
- Signed – the signature is captured and the record created.
- Expired / Revoked – the request is no longer valid.
While a request is Sent or Viewed, you can resend it with the arrow icon or revoke it with the X. Once the status reads Signed, a View record link appears – it leads to the record generated automatically under Documentation → Records, including the eIDAS audit trail.
Result: the request sits in the list with status Sent, the signer has received their link, and after signing the legally valid record is stored in Cenedril in an audit-proof form.
