Which data a connected portfolio may view and manage at a company is controlled solely by the company admin. Sharing happens under Team on the Portfolio tab, in Portfolio Access Control: there you tick, per portfolio and per area, what it may access. A new connection starts with no access, and every change takes effect immediately.
How access is governed
Understand the principle
The connection between portfolio and company is established via the company key. Which areas are visible afterwards is determined by the company through the company admin’s sharing settings. A freshly established connection has no granted data access until the company admin shares something.
Check the permission
Sharing is done by a person with the Owner or Admin role in the company. The Team page is reserved for these roles, which keeps the access rights in the company admin’s hands.
Grant access as the company admin
Open the Portfolio tab
Open Team and switch to the Portfolio tab. At the top is your Company Key (the same key also appears under Settings → Company profile) to share with a partner, and below it the portfolios connected to your company.
Find the connected portfolio
In the Portfolio Access Control section each connected portfolio appears with its name, website and the Connected status. Below it sits the Granted Data Access list.
Share the areas
Under Granted Data Access, tick the areas the portfolio should see. The choices are Task Management, Startup Founding Wizard, Funding Wizard, Information Security Wizard, Data Protection Wizard, Documentation, Reports and Training. Each tick is saved immediately.
Disconnect or delete
Use Disconnect connection to suspend all access. The previously shared areas stay saved and apply again on Reconnect. A disconnected portfolio appears in the Disconnected Portfolios section. Delete removes the relationship entirely.
What the partner sees
The portfolio's view
In the portfolio only the areas the company admin has shared appear. Without sharing, the company is connected but its content stays hidden. As soon as an area is shared, it becomes available when switching into that company.
Result: the portfolio’s data access matches exactly the areas the company admin shared in Portfolio Access Control. The company keeps control and can adjust, suspend or fully end the access at any time.
