With a template code, the data privacy Express sets up the basic data protection documentation for your organisation. You open the card Data privacy express in the overview of the data privacy assistant, load your template, answer a few questions and confirm your obligations and safeguards. On completion the record of processing activities, the data transfers, the overview of measures, the records and the policies are created, all of them already approved.
Open the data privacy Express and load the template
Open the card in the overview
Open the Data Privacy Assistant through Wizards. The card Data privacy express sits between the introduction and the kickstarter. Click Start the data privacy Express.
Load the template
The step Template shows the field Code under Your template. It is prefilled with the code of your organisation. Click Load template. The row Template found then names the code, the template and its version.
Check what is created
Under This is set up for you a table lists what the data privacy Express sets up for you from the template. Below it, What the template rests on names the assumptions of the template. Read both tables and continue with Next.
Enter and confirm your details
Answer the questions
In the step Your details you answer the questions of the template under What we still need from you, for example on address, contact and website. Fields marked with * are required. As long as something is missing, the footer of the page names the open details. Save progress stores your current state.
Confirm obligations and findings
The step Obligations shows the table Your obligations under What you commit to and, below it, the Findings the data privacy Express documents for you with their reasons. Read both and tick the confirmation at the end of the step.
Confirm the safeguards
In the step Safeguards, under Your safeguards, tick the column In place for every safeguard that already applies to you. For every safeguard without a tick, the column Otherwise this task is created shows which task is created on completion, and Due in shows its deadline.
Complete and read the result
Complete the data privacy Express
In the step Safeguards, click Complete the data privacy Express. Cenedril sets up the documentation and approves the records and policies. The step Result opens afterwards.
Read the result
Under What you have now there are three tables. Set up and approved names the record of processing activities, the data transfers, the measures, the records and the policies with their status and where to find them. To hand out and to display leads to the declaration of consent and the privacy notice and shows the address of the portal for data subject rights. Open tasks lists what you still have to do, with the due date.
Result: The basic documentation is set up and approved. The overview of the data privacy assistant shows the line “Data privacy Express completed on …” with View the result. In the data privacy assistant you change and extend everything the data privacy Express has set up.
