Tamper Alarm

Updated on 1 min

A tamper alarm triggers when someone physically manipulates a device, enclosure, or seal. Common deployment targets include server cabinets, network distribution frames, and security cameras. The alert can be visual, audible, or a notification sent to a central monitoring system. Within an ISMS, tamper alarms protect hardware integrity and prevent undetected interference. They are especially valuable in areas without permanent supervision, complementing access control measures.
